About us

Centre for European Regional and Local Studies (EUROREG)

is an interdisciplinary research and educational institution specialising in regional and local studies and policies. The Institute also carries out research on the transformation processes in Central and Eastern European countries and conducts comparative studies on the development of science and technology.

EUROREG co-ordinates grants financed by the Polish Committee for Scientific Research (KBN), and participates in foreign research projects.

EUROREG assists local and regional governments in developing their strategic plans. It also prepares studies and analyses for the Government, the European Commission, the World Bank and OECD. Its employees act as consultants to various government agencies and local authorities both in Poland and abroad.
